Tutor

Galatians 4:1-2 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Having a tutor makes me feel like I have a learning dissability. If you are a parent and had to hire a tutor you know you are doing what is best for your child. Yesterday we spoke about the milk of the word, a healthy appetite and growing in Christ. Today I will speak to you about our tutor.

Jon 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, is the third person in the Trinity of God. He is God. This tutoring is so important to God that He takes on the responsibility Himself. He is infallible, He is perfect in every way, He will not fail you.

Over the years I have heard repeatedly: “I don’t get it.” “I don’t understand.” “It is too complicated.” Those comments come from one single source, the enemy, Satan.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

When we believe the lies of the enemy it produces doubt, fear and ambiguity. I can’t and I don’t are the lies the enemy has placed on you and you need to push them aside and believe God.

John 14:15:18 If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

And Now

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Has Jesus Christ set you free from the law of sin and death? Has sin been removed as an obstacle in hearing God by faith? If you are born again, congratulations, let us talk in faith.

If you have not received Jesus Christ into your heart and become a new creation, born again, then any further discussion will not render you any help in this endeavor. Only those born again may receive by faith anything else that we have to say on these matters. I encourage you to review all that has been said so far this year on this subject and do an earnest evaluation of your condition. Do you have it in you to accept that free will offering that is a life in Jesus Christ?

I have simply put everything that is required for rebirth and to open this dialogue with our God. Now we begin listening and speaking with God by faith.

For the benefit of all, I will begin with this initial conversation, that moment when God first spoke to you by faith. It is a way of speaking to you that is not natural. It is not heard with the ear as readily as your native tongue. As we said before, it is received and spoken in the new heart condition. Since this is the case for the new born in Christ, let us talk as children.

Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

I came to Christ in my forties. It does not matter at what age you are reborn you are a babe in Christ. That is a difficult thing for a grown man to admit. Some get it, some reject it, but we should not deny it. If we do not accept that we are babes in Christ that fact alone will hinder growth.
