Access

Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

If I were to list promises by importance, I would list access at or near the top. Since I am the one listing them, I have to choose an order somehow. Why I list access as important is because I never had it before. Access was one of the first tings lost because of sin when Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden.

Once again, these promises have terms and conditions for which the Holy Spirit oversees our keeping the protocol as we approach the throne room.

Psalm 100:1,2,4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

That is the protocol. Is that so hard to accept? Consider this the next time you want to enter into His presence, access is only granted to those who follow protocol.

So what is the benefit of gaining access? Do I really have to tell you?

Psalm 100:5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Those are two very important commodities for Kingdom dwellers. Mercy and truth are two of the promises we will explore later. But at the moment we are talking about access.

Ecclesiastes 6:12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

Only God the Father can reveal the after effects. The Holy Spirit is dealing with us in the realm of the now. Like the disciples who glimpsed into glory at the Mount of Transfiguration, it is an encouragement to know that we will not always suffer in this present condition.

Romans 8:18-19 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
