Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created…
I will not debate the issues of creation. I should not have to debate creation or evolution. I see no conflict. Others do but it is not a point that should be up for debate. All you have to do is look at the definition of scientific theory to understand why.
A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not “guesses” but reliable accounts of the real world.
Science examines the natural world. It is right there in the definition. Science cannot experiment on spiritual things. The observation of the spirit can only be performed by those of us who have been quickened, born again, given spiritual eyes and ears.
Man has every right and ability to believe and accept science. What man should not do is demand that science proves anything spiritual. The lie of the enemy is that science is superior to faith. Once again, science cannot destroy what is not contained within its realm, the natural world. The spiritual realm is beyond its reach.
To explain my opening sentence, allow me to paraphrase scripture; render unto science the things of science and render unto the spirit things of the spirit. I can and do believe both, but unlike others, I do not allow one to destroy the other.
Mark 4:11b Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God:
Only those of us who have been born again, of the spirit, have the required element of life to perform the grand spiritual experiments to uncover the mysteries of the Kingdom. Without the spirit we would be like a scientist without powerful microscopes, unable to make observations.
