The Revelation of Jesus Christ 1:1a The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
We call it Revelation, we label it Revelation, we refer to it as Revelation, but when those scrolls were found a title was given based upon only one word of five which began this book of the bible. Call it convenience, editing, or call it anything you want but it is The Revelation of Jesus Christ.
The Old Testament is The Revelation of Jesus Christ in an historical aspect. He was from the beginning, is seen throughout biblical history, and foretold in His coming to earth as fully man and fully God.
The New Testament is The Revelation of Jesus Christ in His Work and this life we live in the church age. He is a vital part of the living Word. He dwells in us and we dwell in Him.
At the end of the bible is The Revelation of Jesus Christ. If the OT and NT are The Revelation of Jesus Christ historically and experimentally, what aspect of Christ is revealed in this last book?
This is The Revelation of Jesus Christ who sits on the right hand throne of God in all His Glory who reigns from heaven above. This Christ we do not know. He is a mystery beyond are capacity to comprehend. We see glimpses and only glimpses. The reason that people struggle to understand and interpret Revelation scriptures is because they do not acknowledge this is The Revelation of Jesus Christ on the Throne.
Since we are living in Christ, don’t you think it is best we know and understand Christ in us better? The life we live in Christ is the experience of getting to know Him and His will for us in the here and now. If anything of personal value in that last book of the bible is to be found, then it will be discovered in The Revelation of Jesus Christ in us.
This is an outstanding message – excellent +. So well said!

No responses but if the discussion exists within the lives of readers, it has met its goal. A witness is most effective face to face.
