Isaiah 43:19 English Standard Version (ESV) Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
At the time that Isaiah word these words the things which came into being after the life, death, resurrection and rule of our Lord, had never been done before. We that live in this church age are doing the will of God in a new way. That is not to say that God has changed His mind, His plans, His will, or His Words. He remains the same forever and this new thing was in His plans from the beginning.
There is within all of us a process of discovery which happens when we see the light of truth on something new to us. How we deal with that vision is based upon our own character and influences. We are not yet perfected and we must be careful about how we express what we see in thinking this is new instructions, new interpretations, and something other than what God has already performed. We must not create new doctrine, new teachings that are not consistent with what God has already said and done.
Revelation 22:16-21 English Standard Version
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
There are no new doctrines.
