Matthew 13:14 English Standard Version (ESV) Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:

“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”

Here our Lord declares a prophecy fulfilled. That is one down.

Some of the prophecies have been fulfilled, some with pronouncements, some by evidence of occurrence that is unmistakable. Some are awaiting their turn to come to pass.

During these times of anxiety it is not uncommon for us to see prophecies in current events, but are they really coming true? It is an arguable point. We should not argue about which prophecies are seen or about to become fulfilled. 

We have a work to do that shall bring about the one prophecy that we are all waiting to be fulfilled.

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

Are we prepared for the wedding?
