John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Jesus is truth but the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. For some that may sound like a conflicting statement but there is no conflict in the Godhead. The Holy Spirit will guide you in all truth. The Holy Spirit will not testify of Himself. Whatever the Holy Spirit hears Jesus (Truth) speak, He will repeat it.

He will show you things to come. What do you think that means? Is He going to give you the answers to that exam you didn’t study for? No. That is the revelation of the future, prophesy. Do we prophesy? No. The Holy Spirit reveals to us and then we repeat what we have heard or seen.

Is that the primary goal of the Holy Spirit? No, of course not. He is our guide in truth, but to what end?

Psalm 73:21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

John 3:19-20 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Hebrews 10:22-23 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Truth stands alone and unchanged by human perception or acceptance. This was my definition of truth. It stands in the light of my belief that Jesus Christ is Truth. Do you know Him? Perception! Have you accepted Him? Acceptance. Jesus Christ stands alone as the single source of accessible truth. Everything which is not by revelation of Jesus Christ is merely perception and subject to human frailty, corruption and lies of the enemy.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44) being the Antichrist, being opposed to Christ, the opposite, just as Christ was born of God, full of truth. (John 1:14)

Note please this phrase in 2 Thessalonians 2, “received not the love of truth”. Only God or man can love and for truth to love, He must be Man and God. This is only my logical expression of what I know to be the revealed truth, that Jesus Christ is Truth. He revealed that to me as He revealed Himself to me.

You may call that my perception and if that is your choice, I accept it. The awareness and acceptance of truth is in the revealed Christ. It is personal and for you to know the truth you must accept the truth, Jesus Christ.
