Done

Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Have you run the experiment and discovered faith that saves? Do you have your evidence? Have you collected your substance? Are you satisfied? Do you think you have met the criteria pf Psalm 17:15 and you are done with the experiment?

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

The English language can be very confusing, translations in English do not always carry the original intent of the scriptures. Allow me to rephrase the opening psalm for more clarity/

Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be DONE, when I awake, with thy likeness. Altered KJV

The Hebrew word for satisfied is saba` which means satiated, filled with what is described next, in this case Christ. In relationship with saba` allow me to relate this idea to Christ instructions.

Matthew 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

1 Corinthians 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

In this life we can never be filled enough to contain the fullness of Christ. When He says “when I awake” in Psalm 17:15, He is referring to waking up after the long sleep, when we are collected together in paradise.
