Here is my difficulty in relying on definitions imposed on me by the world.

Psalm 98:2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

The Lord is not hiding from anyone. We do not hold secrets, nothing we believe is withheld from unbelievers. It is not our intention to hold ourselves as a secret society.

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Rather than holding the truth close to the vest, we are shouting it from the rooftops. Who is listening? Certainly not the agnostic. Agnostics refuse to commit to anything. In a way the agnostic is more lost than the man who believes the lies. At least that man believes in something and will perhaps reason with us and discover the truth. The truth being that we hide nothing as it pertains to salvation.

So we battle with how the world views us, defines us, and gossips about us. There is little that can be done about that. We are only contributors. We are not the publishers. In this we can only live the life we are given and be what God has created in us.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Show them who you are.
