Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Psalm 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Do we have to understand God before we can trust God? His way is perfect and His Word has proven itself to be true. Do we have to see it tested before we can believe it? The rational mind wants evidence to accept what it does not understand. An irrational mind will not accept the truth even with proof. There is no arguing with an irrational mind.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
A transformed life will not follow the path of the worldly mind, the thoughts we developed while living a life without Christ. Now that we are in Christ and Christ is in us, we can live by faith.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
If we have to see it to believe it, then we are operating in our own strength and God is not in it.
Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
The strength to be right, to do right, dwells in us in the Spirit. This walk of faith requires us to hear Him by faith, to believe by faith and to obey by faith.
