Psalm 23:6 English Standard Version (ESV)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell[c] in the house of the Lord
forever.
The Lord’s anointed do not need to have this explained other than what the Holy Spirit testifies about.
The Lord’s anointed did not learn anything new in this series. It serves more as a reminder of things already known.
“I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:”
Do you really need chapter and verse to recognize scripture?
Have you been there before? Is implanted on your heart and in your memory?
Perhaps it was read in another version.
“I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder”
Or another.
“I have stirred up your unsullied (sincere) mind by way of remembrance,”
The version we read most often has imprinted that version in our minds but has not changed meaning nor has been more or less true.
The truth is the truth, no matter the language.
“Dans l’une et dans l’autre je cherche à éveiller par des avertissements votre saine intelligence,”
“En estas dos cartas estimulo con exhortación su limpio entendimiento,”
The Spirit speaks them all.
