Romans 1:20 English Standard Version (ESV) For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. (The Oxford Dictionary)
We are so smart that we have developed computers to do our thinking for us. Science boils down to observational skills. Scientist have argued amongst themselves about what they are observing. They challenge every assumption and try to disprove every theory that does not satisfy their own questions.
The big bang theory gave way to string theory. Particle generators create crash scenarios of such enormous speeds that the human eye cannot perceive so instruments had to be created to try and explained what happened. It seems that every answer leads to more questions and theories must be challenged to satisfy the minds of the next great generation of skilled scientist.
One question has never been satisfactorily answered by science. What happened before time began?
God who exists outside of time created time. The power to perform that creative process is immeasurable. There is a theory that proves that power exists. It is called faith.
Faith when treated as a theory can be placed into the realm of scientific study. We can run observational experimentations. We can test faith in order to see how it acts.
In order to test faith one must first find faith? No experiment can be performed without a clean sample of the test object. Where are we to find faith? If it is going to be subjected to the observational skills of the power of God then its source must have some connection to that field of study.
Where will we find faith? That is the question.
