Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
OK, lost connection with DSL this morning. I am more than a little frustrated with being disconnected from my access to the internet. I have to have connection to put out my blog daily. Any number of things can interfere with that connection. Equipment failure, loss of electricity, cut cable to the local hub, and we even lost connection from a squirrel eating the insulation at the pole.
There are many things to check when this disconnect occurs. If we as believers lose our connection to God, to the Spirit, then there is nothing to blame but ourselves. Our flesh and our hearts fail, it is never anything outside of own control. The problem is with us.
The same thing happens with connecting with God as with the DSL, you do not know there is a connection problem unless you attempt to log on. With the DSL it becomes very obvious that there is a problem, a pop up screen says, “No connection found”.
What does it look like when you have lost connection with God? What does your connection usually look like? How do you know when you are plugged in? What do you try to make connection? What self-tests do you attempt to discover the problem?
How long does it take you to go back into the service manual and search for an answer?
2 Timothy 3:16 (ip) All scripture is given ….. for instruction…
Test your faith connection.
Return to the “service manual”! I love that. Indeed, and talk to the One who wrote it…then listen. Thanks for this very practical posting.
