John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
I’ve often thought about our place in The Great and Terrible Day of the LORD. There has not been an abundance of scriptures which make our part clear, but there are hints. This is but one of them.
Zechariah 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
The issue of what comprises a saint has been clouded by various religious attitudes, definitions and demands. Not so with living waters, as it relates directly to believing on Jesus Christ. No works attached, no demands, just believing on Jesus Christ. No body of works separates this class of believers, they are one together.
Zechariah 14:6-7 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
All clouded visions shall be cleared up. We will no longer see by reason of religion, doctrine, talents or gifts, but shall see the true light as He stands before us on that day.
