Psalms 49:3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
Yesterday I quoted nothing but scriptures. I left the interpretation of the meaning to the author of your faith. Let each of us hear what our Lord has to say to us as individuals.
If I were to speak wisdom, true wisdom, I would leave the scriptures to speak for themselves. The meditations of my heart are my understanding, pertaining to the darkness that is mine alone. It is folly to believe His light will shine in your heart and find what it finds in me.
There is however common wisdom which applies to all of us, even though we differ. It does not speak to the motivations of the heart but rather to those things to which we put our hands to do.
Psalm 49:10-13 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
Ecclesiastes 2:11, 9:1 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun. For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.
