Psalm 3:2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
Have you ever known you were struggling and turned to the bible for help and just weren’t finding the help you needed? How long did you spend in the Word seeking answers? In truth we know what we are struggling with when this happens. Sometimes we search the problem subject looking for the answer. Perhaps you search for the answer you want.
Finding the answer that helps isn’t always an instant thing. One and done they call it. No, often if the struggle is real, then it takes an earnest heart for correction to find the answer. Often times the answer is in correction. The fact you are aware of the struggle should tell you that.
Forgiveness is found in the Lord. Take your struggle there. He knows better than you what the problem is and how to fix it. But you have to want it and want it bad enough to strive for it. What I found in Hebrews 12 helped me today. Maybe it will help you also. I don’t know, but here it is anyway.
Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
He was speaking to me in the very struggle. I had not given in, I struggled. He was fighting for me and I wasn’t listening. I thought there was some “thing” I had to do. I searched the scriptures high and low seeking what I had to do until I found the answer.
Listen, I just had to listen.
