Reading the Amplified Bible Version expands our understanding of scriptures in truth. It is not a one for one translation but takes the truth about God and reinforces what is said in context with His character and our responsibilities.

Once God has adopted us into His family, He has created a place for us based on relationship. We are not the first, Christ is first. Thankfully we are not the last. We will be big brothers and sisters to the newborn babes in Christ. As in all families, our placement comes with family responsibilities.

“Would you please feed the baby?”

“Go with your little brother and keep him safe.”

The reason for the title “You Got This” is because God not only has created a desire in us but also trained us up in the Way. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We have been walking with Jesus longer than our little brothers and sisters in Christ. It is because we have been changed in heart and mind that we can do this. Believing comes with responsibilities. Our actions must reflect our beliefs or we will be misleading and mistreating the little ones.

It is important during the performance of these responsibilities that the little ones are always shown Christ. He is the Way. We are not creating followers of our own. Little ones like to mimic older siblings so make sure that they see us walking with Jesus and not on our own.
